The Cotswold Garden
Welcome to our charming farmhouse in the Cotswolds. I'm Poppy, and I can't wait to share my passion for dried flowers with you. My adventure began three years ago when I started foraging seasonal blooms to make into stunning centerpieces and wreaths for our home. As I played with different plants from our garden, I discovered the magic of drying flowers, and I was instantly hooked! After spending a fortune on fresh flowers, I fell in love with the idea of growing and drying my own, creating floral displays that last for years. With my husband Tom by my side, who absolutely thrives in the garden, we found the perfect rhythm—he nurtures our vibrant garden, and I turn our beautiful, home grown flowers into beautiful creations to last.
We're a busy family of four, including our two wonderful children and let me not forget our adorable Cocker Spaniel, Herbie, my loyal sidekick, who you will definitely meet along the way.
As a fine art graduate, my passion for creation is deeply rooted in my being. I cherish the journey of nurturing tiny plants from their beginnings, witnessing the beauty of drying flowers as they deepen in colour and develop unique personalities.
My mission is to promote dried flowers as an eco-friendly alternative for enjoying blooms. In our garden, we prioritise being peat-free and pesticide-free, with flowers designed to last up to three years or longer with proper care. I encourage people to choose dried flowers over fresh or artificial options that often end up in landfills.
